Welcome to your Amelia Island oceanfront retreat—where sweeping Atlantic views, luxury finishes, and calm coastal décor create an unforgettable escape! Located on one of the island’s most peaceful, uncrowded beaches, 1857 Turtle Dunes is freshly renovated and includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining area, as well as a private oceanfront balcony. This stunning villa is ideal for couples, small families, and guests who value nature, comfort, and quiet luxury.
Travelers come to relax and unwind at this slice of paradise! Enjoy the gourmet, open-concept kitchen, complimentary starter supplies, premium beds and linens for exceptional sleep, spacious storage space, high-speed Wi-Fi, and easy access to the Turtle Dunes pool and beach. The private oceanfront balcony serves endless picturesque views, from sunrise to sunset to stargazing!
When not retreating at this meticulously-maintained and thoughtfully-appointed villa, guests may enjoy many nearby offerings, including:
• 10+ restaurants ranging from casual to fine dining
• Coffee shops and wine markets
• Boutique shopping
• Spa and salon services
• Walking and biking trails through lush maritime forest
• Tennis and pickleball courts
• Little Sandy 9-hole golf course
• Nature Center that offers kayaking and segway tours
Many of these are offered in the Omni Amelia Island Resort, which is also located within the larger Amelia Island Plantation community that is home to the Turtle Dunes complex.
Wake up to gorgeous sunrises right from your bedroom window nook or the private balcony. Not a early riser? Then the breathtaking sunsets might be more your speed and can be enjoyed right from this villa's floor! Looking to the west from the front entrance, guests will be able to not only get a birds-eye view over the tree canopy but also a peek at the Amelia River in the distance as the sun dips below the horizon.
Explore more of the island by heading north on A1A to the Historic Downtown of Fernandina Beach, to the Amelia Island Lighthouse, or to Fort Clinch State Park. Many bike rental shops offer daily and weekly rentals for pedaling your way across this enchanted isle. Just south of Amelia Island is Little and Big Talbot Island State Parks, wonderful nature preserves with quiet coastal hiking trails and for spotting migrating birds.
As part of this rental, a custom digital guidebook is provided with thorough property information and our local area guide sharing favorite restaurants, attractions, and more! Excitingly, our guests are also eligible to receive a 15% discount on beach gear rentals. This villa truly is the whole package, both inside and out!
We look forward to hearing from you and helping you plan your trip to this freshly-updated Turtle Dunes villa!
*Please be advised this private property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park and Oak Marsh golf course is limited only to club members and their guests. We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities!
