Attention beach lovers! We invite you to share the beauty of your Amelia Island vacation through your best photos! Whether it’s captivating sunrises, fun-filled beach activities, marsh scenes, sea turtle hatchlings, historic sites, delectable local cuisine, or any other island-themed wonders, we want to see them all!
The Grand Prize Winner will receive an off-season 3-night vacation in one of our Destination Amelia vacation rentals. We will have three categories, and one winner will be chosen from each category below to receive a $100 gift certificate good toward a stay anytime with Destination Amelia. The 2023 contest will be open for entries from now through December 31, 2023. Winners will be contacted via the email used to submit the photo, announced on our Facebook page, and promoted in a blog post.
Enter as many photos as you like! We might even use them in our ads or on social media!
Categories:
1. Beach Scenes: Submit your favorite photos of Amelia Island’s pristine beaches. Perhaps it’s of your family enjoying time in the sand, an incredible wave you captured, shorebirds scurrying along, beautiful shells you found, a huge shark tooth find, sunrise with your cup of coffee, or the windswept dunes! Be as creative as you’d like!
2. Landmarks: Submit your top photos of Amelia Island landmarks that you have captured. This may include but is not limited to: the lighthouse, state parks, historic homes, marinas, shopping villages – anything that you interpret as an Amelia Island landmark.
3. Enjoying a Destination Amelia rental: Submit your photos of you and your loved ones enjoying an Amelia Island vacation in one of our Destination Amelia properties! Don’t forget to mention the name of the unit in your caption. Yes, this can include the property’s amenities, like the pool!
Rules:
By submitting your photos, you agree to the Rules stated below:
1. Photos must be taken in the Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach area.
2. Please submit photos in a high-resolution JPG format.
3. Entries will be judged by our staff based on the subject matter, quality of image, and composition. You may enter as many photos as you like.
4. Enter photos only taken by you or a family member with permission of the family or other recognizable individuals in the photo.
5. No professional photographers, please.
6. By submitting your photos, you grant Destination Amelia permission to use your photo submission(s) for use in any marketing, advertising, or promotional materials at its discretion without payment or any other consideration.
7. The grand prize is a 3-night stay at one of our properties in the off-season of 2024. The home will be chosen by Destination Amelia within 2 weeks of the arrival date.
8. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
9. Please do not submit any photos that have time stamps or text added.
10. By submitting an entry you agree to receive email communications from Destination Amelia. You may opt-out at any time.
