The front porch offers peek-a-boo ocean views, making it a great place to sip your coffee while watching the sunrise. The circular driveway out front is ideal for safely entering and exiting the property.
Bike rentals are available nearby and there are various public golf courses on the island. Please inquire for additional information.

Our first time staying at The Little Yellow Cottage and it won’t be the last! We loved the proximity to the beach and easy walking distance to Main Beach restaurants. The interior is very clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a stay at the beach. The eclectic, whimsical decor is so charming and sets the perfect beach house mood! Our dog loved the fenced backyard, and we enjoyed the shaded back patio! The front porch is the perfect reading spot! We look forward to booking this home again and again!

We stayed in a beautiful beach cottage for ten days and had the most wonderful time. The house (115 S. Fletcher Ave) had every amenity you could ask for, was very clean and located within walking distance to some of the best eating spots. The staff of Destination Amelia were quick to respond to any questions we had. They even had a treat for each of for our pups upon our arrival. We will definitely be back, scheduling our visit through them.

We have been coming to Amelia Island for eight years, each year staying at a different place. This was our favorite so far! It accommodated three couples and two dogs perfectly. The decor is so colorful and charming! (The pictures don’t do it justice. ) The beautiful big fenced back yard was perfect for our two dogs. The kitchen is the most well-stocked kitchen thus far. It had everything you could need, including an air fryer and crock pot. We loved eating out on the patio under the jasmine-covered pergola. The outdoor shower was so convenient for washing off all the sand. The house is right across the street from Public Beach Access #1. Only a few steps take you right to the beautiful beach. We hope to return to the Little Yellow Cottage again next year!

We had an amazing stay at 115 Fletcher. The house is large, comfortable, was very clean, and has a great yard for our dog! We had a fantastic 5-night stay at the Little Yellow Cottage! It was the perfect spot for myself, my wife, and our 18-month-old. The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach, which made morning walks and evening sunsets so easy and enjoyable. Also walking distance to eateries, the surf shop, playgrounds and other activities! The cottage itself is charming and well-stocked with everything you could need. We were very happy with the kitchen they had all the essentials and more. The outdoor shower was a great touch after beach days, and we made good use of the BBQ and backyard space. The beach gear was a bonus! The beds were comfy and house kept at a perfect temperature. We loved the fun and thoughtful decor throughout—it gave the place personality. You can tell a lot of care and love has gone into this home. The gate on the front porch was very handy with an 18 month old. Also the hose out the front made for rinsing sand off very convenient. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a pup friendly rental for my 2 week vacation. This cottage had a perfect location across from the beach with a fully fenced grassy backyard perfect for the pups and I. The family joined us for the weekend from Savannah, GA. Great added space for the grandkids and adult parents. The location was close to restaurant for Mother’s Day. Used Instacart grocery delivery from local Publix. Local pizza delivery and fully stocked kitchen to cook up meals. Great outdoor grill, all beach supplies we needed for the beach! Tempted not to let anyone know about such a sweet place to stay, but it’s a wonderfully kept and inclusive rental!!!

Absolutely wonderful! Impeccably decorated home with more than adequate amenities. We enjoyed just looking at the art work. It's the small things that count: spotless clean, a closet full of hangers, Rubbermaid for food storage, leaving our doggy a treat! We used the beach cart everyday, the beach chairs were in working order. Everything worked. Being able to walk to two restaurants was nice. Loved the outdoor shower for rinsing off sand and puppy paws. The fenced in yard was awesome. Got to watch a red-tail hawk that came by in the morning and sat on the fence. It was also a very quiet place. We had a wonderful time!

A wonderful experience for 2 adults and our doggo. It was great to have a big, fenced-in yard. But it was even better to have a place that didn't smell like a dog friendly rental. This place was clean! Like, cleanest place we've stayed on Amelia to date. Well stocked and ready for our arrival. Perfectly decorated little "beach" cottage. The 2 of us never felt like it was too small or too big. The 1 minute walk across the street to the beach was never a problem. This will be where we come back to from now on. Thanks for a great stay!!

The owners of this house have thought of every convenience, and the property manager is taking excellent care of it well. The house is well maintained and super clean. All basic essentials were available, along with some nice-to-have extras like a login for YouTubeTV (great for watching sports). The beach access is super easy and the front porch is a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. We will definitely request this property again in the future!

Access to the beach is literally across the street - and good news - it didn't have stairs over the dunes. Great for my elderly dogs. The dogs loved the backyard too.

Sister trip last week here and it was wonderful. The home is beautifully decorated with every amenity included and it’s across from the beach. Restaurants, parks and cute downtown Fernandina Beach is close. Beautiful fenced backyard and great front porch to where we enjoyed drinking our coffee while watching the sunrise and view the ocean. We had a great stay at the yellow house. It is perfectly located near the beach and the state park and it was just the right size for our family of four and our dog. The backyard is a lovely oasis not only for dogs, but the whole family had lovely evenings relaxing on the porch. The kitchen is probably the most well-appointed rental kitchen I have ever seen (and I own a vacation rental!). We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was clean and as advertised. To our delight it was also decorated extremely well for Christmas (what a nice treat!). Our large breed dog had plenty of room in the back, and the beach was actually right across the street whereas some you have to walk down a ways to the access. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and will book again.

We were in town visiting family. This was the perfect spot! Directly across the street from the beach, a short walk to restaurants and Main St beach, and a short drive to historic Fernandina Beach and Ft Clinch. Ft Clinch is a definite must do! The house was extremely well kept and nicely decorated, with a sizable deck and back yard. Destination Amelia staff were super helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

The house was fantastic. Just what we were hoping for. It was perfect for our dog. The fenced in yard was beautiful and great for our dog to run around in. The only bad thing was being there when the hurricane was coming but the house and property manager were both great. We plan on staying there again.

Great beach house for family trip. Comfortably slept 5 people. House has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 trundle bed (sleeps 2). Fully loaded kitchen and beach supplies in outdoor trunk. Only 1 indoor shower but has an awesome outdoor shower (w/ hot water). Right across from beach access #1 so feet on the sand in less than 2 mins. And it’s a fairly quiet part of the beach. About 7 mins from downtown. Highly recommend!

My husband and I and our two dogs had a wonderful trip! Loved the fun decor and the back yard was so nice, especially with the dogs. The Jasmine was blooming on the back porch so it smelled amazing. I spent many hours reading on the porch swing. Also, the beach access is literally across the street. Loved it and will be back next year!

My husband and I as well as our dogs enjoyed the cottage very much. The only problem was that we did not realize it was on a main road. Since we live deep in the country, it was hard for us to get used to the cars driving by right outside. But the big backyard and patio were great, the beds were very comfortable, and oh that beach!! We loved our stay. The beach is right across the street and we walked with Jake, our dog, every evening. Dog are allowed on the beach and there were other friendly dogs on the clean, wide, non-comercial beach. Fort Clinch is just around the corner, with many shaded trails. And Fernandina Beach old town, with its many restaurants and shops, is also very close. The cottage itself was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We barbequed several nights in the large fenced back yard, and I loved the outdoor shower. We will be back!

We travel quite a bit and this is by far one of my favorite homes. This was our first trip to Amelia and if we ever come back we will book our stay around this rental. Location was fantastic and for a home that allows pets, I was completely impressed! The owners take wonderful care of their property. It was very clean and is stocked well. The backyard is beautiful! The plants and flowers and well manicured yard (especially with such hot temps) was impressive! The outdoor shower area with plants was also beautiful. I am picky about where I stay and this was awesome! We enjoyed playing cards on the back deck at night and walking right across the street to the beach in the am. Thank you for allowing us to stay and for keeping this house so clean and nicely decorated.

What a great little beach house in a great location. Barely used the car. I had my 3 kids, husband, father in law and our dog. We were all comfortable and loved our stay. This was our second stay at the lovely yellow cottage. We were loved our stay this year because the cottage had so many beautiful upgrades. We felt so at home. The cottage's decor is something from a magazine and everything you need or want is available. We enjoyed our 10 day stay even though the weather did not cooperate at all. Windy and rain was on the daily weather. One of the many things we enjoyed was the cottage is to doggy friendly. The outdoor space is wonderful which includes a newly installed porch swing. We spent as much time out on the back patio area as we could. We will definitely be back again next year hoping the world will be in a better place with Covid-19. I would give this cottage a 10 star rating. The new owners have done a fantastic job at making this destination a worthwhile place to stay on Amelia Island.
