The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, stainless appliances, a gas burning stove-top and has been well-stocked. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bedroom has two single beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TVs for the guest's convenience.
The main bathroom has a walk-in shower but no bathtub. There is half bath/laundry room accessible from the downstairs deck area and it has been outfitted with a new washer and dryer. There is also an outside shower that is convenient when returning from the beach.

This home was perfect! My spouse and I truly enjoyed our stay. It was super clean and there were several little touches that made this a 5 star. We brought our dog and you would never know this is a pet friendly home. A dog treat was left for her as well as chocolate popcorn for us ☺️. A starter kit with garbage bags and cleaning supplies was provided. When we called for extra towels and a blanket they were quickly provided. I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay.

First want to thank the ladies at Destination Amelia. After our destination was changed due to Helene, they got us into house with just a few hours notice. They are very efficient, professional, and friendly. We will definitely be booking with them from now on. As for the house it was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We love this cottage! This was our third time staying here. The cottage has everything you need. And it’s super close to a great access point for the beach that was built with beach carts in mind…no stairs! It’s within walking distance to Main Beach, which has a couple of really good restaurants. Or hangout on the deck and listen to the waves as you eat takeout. So many different ways to have a great time at Fernandina Beach.

Very cute beach house….quick walk to the ocean! My husband and I loved our stay on Amelia Island…probably not as much as our dogs though. Walking and running on the beach was a blast! House is clean and well equipped and a nice size for the two of us. View from the deck was great. Only suggestion I have is possibly have a few board games, cards….something we forgot but like to do on vacation. Also, the Amelia Island bike path is the bomb! Loved our 30+ mile ride! Wow, this place was super clean! Everything, down to the towels in the closet, was neatly stacked and folded. The information about the house and stay was very professionally placed, either laminated or in sleek black frames. The indoor/outdoor bathroom with laundry room was a plus! I thought the house was directly on the beach, but it was only one house away, and not having to cross a busy street was such a relief. We definitely want to stay here again! My husband found the beds a bit hard, but my son and I had no issues there. One of the biggest perks about this rental is they literally have everything you could possibly need. The pots, pans, dishes, flatware, etc. were very high quality, and everything needed to cook was provided. They even had a phone charger in the desk! We literally needed to purchase only groceries and sunscreen. Yay! Thank you for a great and relaxing vacation!

This home was near perfection. Super close location to walking to the beach. It’s about 20 sec from leaving the house until you hit the beach access. Laid back and safe area to relax and enjoy a week. The house was clean and well appointed! We will most certainly be back! You won’t be disappointed in booking this house. The bedrooms are a bit small, and the mattresses aren’t like home, otherwise it is just what a small family needs for a week at the beach.

We stayed for two weeks! The house has a great view of the ocean and is simple and comfortable. Super fast walk to a simply beautiful beach. The house has everything you could need, plus beach toys & chairs. The washer and dryer make packing light a WIN and going home with clean clothes even better! The kitchen needed a cake pan and we love to bake, so we bought one and left it there for future guests. Take your own Roku, the house doesn’t have one, but the cable channels were more than ample. Why be inside at all, though? The falling down fence, shared with the neighbor is a bit of an eye sore and the amazing deck with shade and sun could use a little work. Wear your flip flops to avoid splinters n nail heads, but again, who cares when you are at the beach all day?! You can walk to dinner at Salt Life. Fort Clinch and adorable downtown Fernandina are just a stone’s throw away. Fernandina beach still has a few of these quaint beach houses left, go stay in this one before they are all replaced by jumbo sized 15 + person occupancy behemoths. Thanks for a great stay!

My wife, dog Archie and myself enjoyed a three night stay over New Years. Like others say, the location to beach is perfect. We took full advantage of the deck which is ideal as it's half shaded and half in the sun. Technically the place sleeps 4 people, it does but the second half bathroom is downstairs, you have to walk outside, in the laundry area. If you're high maintenance, that may be an issue. It's actually a nice bathroom. As it was end of December, the beach was really quiet which I think is the norm for the northern part of the island/beach. If you have a dog, it's great to let him/her run on the beach. About half the people leashe the dogs and the other half don't. Technically you need to leash the dogs there but we just did it when another dog/owner approached just in case. Like I said, the beach was pretty empty. The location also seems to be a popular surf spot which was cool to watch. Most of the finer dining restaurants are located about 15 minute drive south which was fine. The downtown area was a 5 minute car ride and maybe a 30-40 minute walk. The kitchen of the house was well appointed if you choose to cook a meal or two. One note regarding the deck. There are two gates, one has a lock that works. The other doesn't lock and our Golden Retriever figured out how to pull it open in about 30 seconds. I would suggest that the owner/manager fix that second lock. The small rope at the bottom doesn't do the trick.

This is a great little house, it's small but really functional and has some nice perks. Its been updated and was very clean. The owner(s) provided everything you need (dishes, linens, beach chairs, etc.) The deck is simply awesome, my wife and I grabbed a nap or two out there listening to the ocean which you can easily see from the deck. There are plenty of outside hoses and a shower to rinse off the beach too. The kitchen was actually a pretty good size for a small house and you could probably fit 8 cars on the parking pad and under the house. Its SO CLOSE to the beach, we didn't even have to fold up the chairs to carry them, just a walk out your back deck and your on the beach in 2mins. Downtown Amelia is only 5mins away and is definitely worth the visit (great restaurants and plenty of stores to window shop - way bigger historic town than we expected). You can also take a sort walk down the beach and eat outside at Salt Life. I must say we were really happy overall with how cool this house was and the location was perfect. We would definitely love to come back and stay again!
