Our budget-friendly bungalow is located just 1/4 mile from Main Beach and 2 miles from the historic downtown Fernandina Beach. Plus, Ft. Clinch State Park and Egan's Creek Greenway are a short bike ride away! Our townhouse, named Coastal Blue #2, is truly convenient to everything the island has to offer - and best of all, beach access is just a short walk across the street!
Situated close enough to the shoreline to hear the waves at night, our townhouse has been recently updated including new furniture, flooring, and upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms. From the lower level guests enter the living room, which offers comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. The dining area seats four and is right next to the renovated kitchen featuring new appliances and counter tops. From the downstairs level, guests also have access to the laundry room with a washer and a dryer.
Both bedrooms are on the upstairs level. In the primary bedroom, guests will enjoy the comfortable king mattress and flat screen TV. There is also private deck access from the primary bedroom.
The second bedroom offers two twin beds and clothing storage. The main bathroom on the second level has a tub/shower combination and a vanity with extra counter space. Guests are provided all fresh bed linens and bath linens, including beach towels.
Dogs are considered but they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs.

Excellent remodel of an older townhouse. Kept the comfort and simplicity, and added new furnishings and appliances to create a great place to stay. Comfortable bed, good shower water pressure, all you need kitchen and washer and dryer. We had a wonderful stay at Blue #2.

Great condo in an excellent location! Very close to beach access and local restaurants. Condo was very clean and well supplied. They thought of everything, including beach towels, chairs, and a wagon. We had a welcome snack from them as well as a treat for our dog. Destination Amelia was wonderful to book through. They communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. I would highly recommend them and staying at Coastal Blue.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo/townhouse in Fernandina! It was perfect for a last-minute trip with my mom and my dog. The 2-bedroom, 1.5-bath layout was just right for the two of us. Only thing I will point out is that the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are quite steep. Not an issue for me but just something to keep in mind if traveling with people who have issues with stairs. The location was great with the beach across the street and a few restaurants within walking distance; downtown is a very short drive away and lots of free parking so no issues there. The host left lots of local info and brochures and even had a treat for my pug when we arrived. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay at Ohio Ave #2. The condo was clean and had all the amenities you needed for a weekend stay. You would think that it was a small place but actually was very spacious with the sleeping area upstairs. It was across the street to the beach and walking distance from the #2 beach access. It was in a perfect location to explore all what Fernandina has to offer. It was a plus that it was a pet friendly place. Check-in and out was very easy. For a townhouse directly across the street from the beach, this is everything you could ask for. The beach access is so easy to walk to, and downtown is only a short bike ride or drive away. The hosts were very responsive in helping me access the unit, and answering questions during my stay.

We had a very relaxing weekend right before the hurricane. The entire building was empty except for us, so we were able to let the toddler do her thing without bothering any neighbors. There was everything you could possibly need for the beach which was right across the street. We walked everywhere. Very kid friendly area (with exception of stairs but we made it work). Would definitely stay again.

The property was reasonably priced and had the amenities of a home. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed two nights, so we did not get a chance to use the kitchen or laundry room. But, I would come back for a longer stay. Fernandina Beach has nature, shops, and great restaurants. Our group biked, ate, and had lots of cocktails! On our drive out we stopped at the local thrift stores, always fun!

The Townhouse was just the right fit for the two of us. We had 2 guests for two nights and that worked out well. It would be a little tight for 4 adults if you stayed for a week, but perfect for a couple of kids. We just walked a hundred yards up Fletcher avenue and we had beach access. It is conveniently located to the main beach and Ft. Clinch. There are three really good beach front restaurants very close by. We had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay here! The unit was exactly as described. It's in super close proximity to a beach entrance, making it a great place to stay if that's your focus. In addition, it is exceedingly close to the downtown area. You can get to most of the main attractions in less than 5 minutes by car. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again!

So I rented this location while looking for something just to get away. I only live about 1.5 hours away. We’ve been going to Fernandina for years. This super cute condo unit was perfect. I was in #2. I had the large room and shared with my daughter for one night and my two besties had the twin beds and it was perfect! Lots of towels, beach towels, kitchen towels, etc.- the secret 1/2 bath downstairs was a plus!! We loaded up the beach cart there at the unit and used chairs in the storage outside- and walked the whole 4 minutes to the beach access. Super close! We sat on the porch off the master bedroom and had cocktails and enjoyed the night air- it was so quiet! There really wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t already accounted for - well except toiletries and such. The communication with the office was spot on and they were very email efficient! Throughly enjoyed and will definitely stay again. Oh- and the price- very good for the area! Thanks, Destination Amelia.

If you have issues with stairs then beware as the stairs in the units are steep and narrow in depth so would not recommend.

This place worked very well for us. Very clean condo with balconies and outside seating you can enjoy. Short two-block walk to the beach which was not crowded. Also close to the state park so bring your bikes. Also easy walk to putt putt. When we went to the beach we were able to leave our items and walk to the restaurant up the street for lunch. Don't over pack. Washer and dryer there with supplies. Great place and location, we will come back.

Clean and comfy!! Only caveat is if you are not agile with stairs be careful. We thought we were agile and both of us (in our 30s) fell down the stairs. I think it’s the carpet being soft. No fault to anyone. But easy to do. Other than that we loved the beach chairs and super close to beach access #2! Perfect for kids to not walk too far and you can see and hear ocean from the balcony. Love the amount of pillows in this place too!!

Spacious and very comfortable for families. Both bedrooms are upstairs which is great for smaller kids, and the master has a private balcony for after kids go to bed. Kitchen has everything you need and was very clean. Loved having full size washer and dryer. Location is easy 1 block walk to Beach Access 2, not crowded at all and very convenient. Location overall is less than 10 minutes to downtown, and around the corner from several restaurants. Overall a very relaxing place to vacation! We’ll be back!

The condo was clean with easy access to the beach. Just walk north to Beach Access #2 and you are right there. It is in an area with mostly locals and vacation homes so much less crowded than areas with lots of hotels.

The property was extremely clean. Extra beach amenities were available such as beach towels and a wagon to carry our stuff to the beach. This was an added bonus to our beach outings. The check-in process was painless. Beach entrance was a short walk away and Downton Amelia was minutes away by car. Overall it was a great experince and I cannot wait to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was very clean which eased our minds in these crazy times. It was clear the extra necessary measures were taken to sanitize and clean. The walk to the beach was SO close and to an area that was a little more secluded than most areas. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and this home, would definitely book again!
