Coastal Blue #1 is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom property that is the ideal place to stay during your next visit to Amelia Island. It has been recently updated including a new deck.
From the lower level guests enter the living room, which offers comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. The dining area seats four and is right next to the recently updated kitchen, including all new appliances, flooring, and countertops. From the downstairs level, guests also have access to the laundry room with washer and dryer.
Both bedrooms are on the upstairs level. In the primary bedroom, guests will enjoy a cozy king mattress and flat screen TV. Private balcony access can also be reached from the primary bedroom, where guests can enjoy the sound of waves crashing just across the street.
The second bedroom offers two twin beds with new mattresses and linens as well. The main bathroom on the second level has a tub/shower combination and a vanity with extra counter space. Guests are provided all fresh bed linens and bath linens, including beach towels.

Dogs are considered but they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs.

Destination Amelia made everything super easy. The accommodations were as advertised. The team there was the best, responding to questions and requests in a timely manner (quite literally just minutes). And accommodating our requests as able. First time to Fernandina/Amelia. Our unit was the one of four closest to road, but noise not bad. Amazing location near beaches and short drive to town. Apt. had just enough quirks to keep it interesting and had everything you need (including a great check-in snack!). Clean.

We got #1 with views of the ocean from balcony. Comfy bed & close to everything. We have stayed in many hotels & houses in the area. So nice for kids to have their own room. We loved this unit & will hopefully be back soon.

If you overlook a few small aesthetic glitches on some walls, door frames, etc., this is a great little property with warm comfortable beds, spotless sheets/towels, and everything you expect to find/need for a great stay in Amelia Island. It is close to everything and there is plenty of beach coast within walking distance. I was most impressed with the management company. They did a great job that exceeded my expectations.

My husband and I have traveled a lot and rented from many rental companies and Destination Amelia is by far the best rental company we have ever used! Reservation was easy, check in and check out were easy and directions and communication were clear and simple. We came to Amelia Island to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and upon check in, they had left us a personalized handwritten card, along with a box of local chocolates. They also left a dog biscuit from a local dog bakery personalized with our dog's name on it! Their sweet gesture moved me to tears! This is customer service at its finest! The property was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We will not even consider renting from anyone else on our next trip to Amelia Island. We highly recommend Destination Amelia and I'd give them 100 stars if I could!

We had a spectacular stay at this cozy unit right across the street from the beach. Numerous beach related items were provided including a cart, towels, and chairs. The unit is also a short drive from downtown and walkable distance to fort clinch. The walk to the beach was only about 3-5 minutes. I would recommend this unit to anyone traveling to Fernandina Beach, and most definitely will be back!

Cute apartment, very clean. The beach access was very close and if there is room you can also park there if you prefer. Provided wagon was very helpful. Our air unit went out the 2nd day. I called them and they were there within 10 minutes. Bad part was replaced and room was cool again in no time. Kitchen was equipped with plenty of appliances. Washer and dryer worked just fine. Rooms were good size, beds were firm. Will consider this location in future.

It seems to be an older motel style building that was renovated. The furniture is new and it seems to be new carpet. Overall it was pretty clean but not excellently clean. Cons: very steep stairs, mattresses are dented, the bathtub is not in great condition. Pros: easy check in and check out, hosts left a little gift for us when we arrived which was so sweet, good amount of supplies in the kitchen, washer and dryer, wagon and chairs for the beach, parking right in front of the door, short drive to restaurants, the city, and natural attractions, location is really good for beach access despite being across the street. It’s just a short walk to a public but not busy beach with a parking lot and boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. 4 of 5 stars!

It worked for us. Clean and neat, with everything we needed. Easy check in. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook, as it was a girls weekend and we went out for every meal. The beds were comfortable, good for a small group.

Loved this little property. It's perfect for four!! However, there are a few things that I would change if I could. The master bedroom needs a blackout curtain, as not everyone is an early riser. The steps are steep and very small, I suggest putting rails on both sides of the stairwell.

We just got back from a 6 night stay and had a wonderful time. The place exceeded our expectations. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and had super convenient access to a beautiful, quaint downtown area. Property is also close to some great trails at Ft. Clinch State Park and Egan’s Creek Greenway. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed the Ohio Ave apartment. It is perfect for a beach holiday. 1/2 block to the beach, a short beach walk to the "Sand Bar" for a lite meal with toes in sand, 2.5 blocks to the "Salt Life Food Shack" for a meal with panoramic views. The location could only be improved if it were in the sand! The apartment was well appointed and quiet. We were even able to home-cook Christmas Dinner.

This place worked well for us because it was near family, but its main selling point is location. It is directly across from the beach, but the orientation of the building and the windows are such that there's no southern or eastern exposure, so little natural light. The bed was also not all that comfortable and I found the water pressure and hot water insufficient for a comfortable shower. Super convenient to have a washer/dryer in the unit and the kitchen was well stocked.

My husband and I finally got to have a much needed get away and this condo was a treat to stay in. It has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and then some. The king bed was super comfortable, it felt like my bed at home! The host was kind and accommodating when we had to change our original booking dates after some medical issues. We will be booking again when we return to Amelia Island.

The unit we stayed at was very clean and in very good condition. It came with a fully stocked kitchen and closets, washer and dryer, and outdoor hose to remove sand and whatnot. The office staff was quick to reply to any questions and comments and were very accommodating to our schedule. The public beach is a 5 minute drive and there is another beach opening within a very short walking distance. There were also plenty of restaurants and shopping areas in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

It's hard to find a place at the beach that isn't huge, and since it was just the 2 of us, we didn't need a place that could accommodate 12... This townhouse was perfect. You could have 4 with the # of beds, but if the other two are teenagers, it could be a little tight. The kitchen was really well stocked. The only thing missing was an 8x8 brownie pan. We made good use of the dishwasher and all the appliances worked really well. It's a short walk to beach access. The balcony off the master bedroom gives you a nice view of the beach and the sunrise. Do bring an eye mask for sleeping, because the curtain in the master is not enough to block sunlight. I'd stay here again for sure!

We had a great stay at this property. We were visiting family who live on the island but needed our own quiet space for me, my husband, and our 8 month old. The kitchen was stocked, laundry available, towels available, and great working AC. We really enjoyed the balcony with the peep of an ocean view too. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back again one day! The management team was exceptionally great at communicating with me prior to our arrival as I wanted to ship ahead some baby items To lighten our trip over. We really appreciate the kindness and hospitality!

Older building and things were not perfect but you can tell the owners have upgraded some things - furniture, bedding was nice. Laundry facility/room was great for the family. Close to downtown. Short walk to the beach which is across the street - access was about 100 yards away. Had detergent, soap, paper towels, beach towels, everything you needed in the kitchen, well-stocked. Had a couple of issues but the management company handled very quickly. Nice little place!

We really enjoyed this location, it was our first time staying here and with two little ones it was so convenient to walk right out the door to your vehicle. It was just the right size for the 4 of us, we would definitely stay again! Looks just like the pictures.
