Pet Policies | Destination Amelia Vacation Rentals

Please be familiar with our pet policies and please contact us if you have questions. If you are staying in a pet-friendly property and brining a pet, please let us know before reserving. For any guests bringing pet(s), we require a signed copy of the pet agreement to accompany the signed rental agreement. Thank you for helping take care of our pet-friendly properties!

Guest agrees to comply with the following:

1. Guest to pay additional pet fee for daily, weekly and monthly rental. The fee varies by property and by length of stay. The pet fee is a non-refundable permission fee, and is not a cleaning fee. If there is additional cleanup for your pet(s), additional charges will be assessed.

2. All pets must comply with the following specifications:
  • Must be current on all vaccinations.
  • Must be spayed or neutered.
  • Must be sociable with people and other dogs.
  • Must be house broken.

3. Please keep your pet(s) leashed when outside. Per county leash law, no pets should be loose or be unattended. Also, we do not want to see your pet(s) get hurt in any way while unleashed.

4. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet waste.

5. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any times. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.

6. Crate your pet(s) inside if you leave your pet(s) unattended. We have found that pets can be uncomfortable when left alone in a new place, and are more comfortable in the crate when you leave because they are familiar with it.

7. Pet(s) will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out. Pet(s) will not be left unattended on balcony, patio, or porch.

8. Guest should prevent pet(s) from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. If the pet(s) makes excess noise or disturbance to neighbors or others, you must be willing to kennel your pet. We can recommend several area kennels.

9. Destination Amelia, Inc., and the homeowner of this property assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The guest shall be solely responsible for the pet(s) while on the property.

10. Please help us to keep this home a pet-friendly place, and leave no reminders that your pet was here. Your pet and other pet owners will appreciate this, and so do we!
